STARTED
We sell and train Started Dogs. Many of our dogs have been started as early as 10 weeks old. Training continues until they are old enough for compulsion training. At that time they are ready for the hunting field. The puppies shown here are 11 weeks old and are pointing and retrieving.
FINISHED DOGS
Finished Dogs are dogs ready to go from COLLIER KENNELS directly to the field. They have successfully hunted wild birds for at least one season and are considered a finished Bird Dog. Call us about our dogs For Sale. You’ll see why we are so proud of our training program!
PUPPIES
COLLIER KENNEL sells puppies starting at 7 weeks old. They are registered with papers. Because hunting dogs tend to be social animals, our puppies have consistent human contact before their eyes are open. At 7 weeks the puppies are separated from their litter mates in order to begin individualized training and to ensure that each puppy within the litter develops to its own highest potential. Also, early in their developmental stage, the puppies are introduced to other dogs and the trainer begins to guide their natural pointing and/or hunting instincts using positive motivational techniques.

COLLIER KENNEL sells Labrador puppies starting at 7 weeks old. They are registered with papers.
